Welcome to the AppApp (Apprentice Application). This is the future of Apprentice Tracking, not just for Local 79 but we believe for all apprentice programs.

The Appapp is being developed for the benefit of our apprentices as well as for a more efficient program. No more lost stubs, extra trips to the MTTF and your raises will come sooner.

Mason Tenders’ Training Fund

We proudly serve the hardworking brothers and sisters of Construction and Building Laborers’ Local 79, Asbestos, Lead, and Hazardous Waste Laborers’ Local 78, and LIUNA Residential Construction and General Service Workers’ Local 10. Over 15,000 strong, these members are keenly aware of the importance of good training. They routinely take full advantage of the courses the Fund offers, and regularly return for upgrade training.

Local 79

Construction and General Building Laborers’ Local 79, which serves the five boroughs of New York City, was created in 1996 through the consolidation of ten smaller Laborers’ Locals. Local 79 currently has over 9,000 active and retired members and is the largest Laborers’ Local in North America.
